Horsemen
So far, I am in the Kaiser-class at tier 4, but I am keeping my tier 3 Nassau-class. For once, I have found something I do not hate at tier 3 and 4; I love both of these ships for their gameplay style, as it really fits the way I have always wanted to play my battleships.
For durability, I cannot overstate how tough these are; I have sailed into brawling situations, taken a pounding from 3-4 other ships, done a 180 and made it back out in fighting condition.
They are close to the USN battleships so far, in terms of speed and maneuverability, but their guns reach out further and have an even flatter trajectory and faster shell speed. The punch on the guns is a bit lacking, but the rate of fire is solid.
It looks like there will be some exceptions to this higher in the tree *looks at the Gneisenau*, but overall, if you like tough, brawly battleships that can still reach out and touch someone (albeit more gently than its USN or IJN counterparts), these might just be the battleships you have been waiting for.
In short, gentlemen (and James), it is time for us to have the most fun that two consenting adults can have together:
BATTLEBOATS!
